At the Culinary today we were amazed by some of the jeans that were fashionable today..
For those of you that don't know Jeans were invented a little over a century ago, jeans are the world's most popular, versatile garment, crossing boundaries of class, age and nationality. From their origins as pure workwear, they have spread through every level of the fashion spectrum, embraced internationally for their unmatched comfort and appeal. Constantly in demand, they have survived the passing of both trends and time, capturing the ethos of each succeeding decade. While their charisma springs from their legendary American roots, their commercial strength rests on innovation and interpretation in the hands of jeanswear makers around the world.
I, having worked at a jeansware store, have all kinds of experience with denim. Starting in the early 90s with Edwin French and Italian Baggies... through the rebirth of the 501 Button fly Levi did you know?? there is no such thing as a 501 with a zipper. Buttons only)... and eventually on to the flared jeans such as the Silver Friscos and the Mavi variations.
Myself, I'm a relaxed fit jean guy. Nothing too tight... nothing too lose. Just like the porridge Goldy Locks ate.
