French Chicken Stew
Jacob ol boy, you missed out today, a French Chicken Stew to die for. Superb rice and a dessert that I at first assumed could have been a pork chop, or perhaps some french toast. I ate it, and still am not really sure what it was... Lots of work to do... Check out Vintage at the Heritage Pub in Summerside on Friday night!

Lunch with a cook
'twas a crowded day at the Culinary today! Donnie luckily scoped us out a table. Midway through our meal we were joined by a guy dressed in the culinary school outfits. This was our chance to grill him with questions about the meals... the schedules (what food is served on what day), etc. But most importantly, we got to ask if he gets upset when people call him a cook... not a chef. He explained that a "chef", in classical terms, is the person that runs the kitchen. Everyone else is a cook. So basically, the chef is the boss. So next time when you're wondering if you'll insult someone by calling them a cook... don't worry about it. Chances are that they are a cook... and not running the kitchen as a chef would.
