Cell Phones CAN Unlock Your Doors!
Welcome back to our faithful readers. We are going to try and get back into the swing of posting... Today we had lunch at Hunter's. Superb meal. We also decided that from now on we will call Friday Lunches, "Lunch Parties". It just sounds more fun. We are also actively recruiting people who might like to join our lunch blog. Send us an email!Today Harma brought up the idea of unlocking your car with a cellphone. Newman quickly dismissed the idea, Jacob was sure it would work and I was somewhat on the fence. Harma believed whole-heartedly with her "heard it on the radio, therefore it must be true" attitude. At once, Newman sprang to his feet and said "Let's try it now!!!" So out we went. What You'll Need: - 2 cell phones
- 1 car with a remote starter/door unlocker
- 1 remote car opener (keychain)
- 2 able bodied humans
What To Do: - One person stand well away from the car (or this could be Mom at home or wherever) with the remote car door opener keychain thing
- The other person stand near the car with a cell phone
- Call each other
- The person near the car aim their cell phone at the car
- The person at home (or wherever), aim the keychain remote at their cell phone and click the button to open the doors
- The doors will unlock! We also attempted to not only open the car doors, but on Newman's civic it actually started his car!!!
***DISCLAIMER*** This worked with a newer model Honda Civic and also a newer model Volkswagon Jetta, however it did not work with my Honda Accord. I think it is just because the battery in my keychain unlocker thing is very weak. But hey, 2 out of 3 ain't bad, right Meatloaf!

We're back.... in many ways -- we've never left.
After a nice break this summer... we're back blogging about this, that, and the other thing! The summer has been quite enjoyable for everyone here I can say and I'm quite saddened that it is September 1st today. In a month and a half the store will start playing their Christmas music. As Donnie mentioned... we're actively looking for clever, witty people to join us for lunch. Next week is going to be new frosh week at the Culinary... so there will be lots of surprised and many dissappointing meals until they get their feet wet. We'll keep you abreast of any news. Anyhow... it is good to be back... if anyone has a good story to tell about their summer... we'd love to hear it. Email us or join us for lunch!

Will I see you in September?
Tried the double patty beef burger today at Hunters, although I heard that a triple burger is now available I wisely opted for the more conventional. It was pretty good and I got to go on a brief tirade with Harma letting her know that you just couldn't compare fast food burgers and pub burgers. It's like that awesome Rosie O'Donnell movie. I know, she was in so many awesome movies, but I'd put today's burger in "A League of Their Own". Well it's Friday and I felt to strange to be back on PEI and not gorging myself with beef. "Your Honour, does that look like a man who had all he could eat?" But unfortunately Myron's has earned themselves a spot in the "Where Are They Now" file. But since it's the Friday before the long weekend and Donnie wants our Friday lunches to be labeled parties from now on, here's a party themed video to start your weekend and the new season of WWTAAL.
