suggest a topic/lunch deal post / read (1) comments 06.20.2006 at Culinary by Dico Kristin's off to South Africa Kristin just got word that she's off to South Africa to help out with AIDS issue down there.  Donnie and I thought it would be quite a handful for her as 25% of the population has HIV/AIDS.  Pretty hard to get your head around those numbers really... 1 in 4 people.  Anyhow, she's gonna be there for 4 months and I'm sure she'll have an open door policy... so this cat is gonna have to find some time and some airmiles to get a way down there.  Probably the only chance I'll ever have!  So if you want to go visit her, drop her an email!   06.20.2006 at Culinary by Kristin RSA here I come! So yeah.. big news on my front. I'll be based out of Halifax but working in Cape Town for a few months. I'm incredibly excited, a nervous, somewhat scared! Dico says he's going to come and visit. He's already ordered travel books, which is more than I can say..... Lunch was tasty. I think if I had to make a "Top 10 things I'll miss about PEI", the Culinary will be on the list. I wont be leaving for a couple weeks so I have a few more lunches to go..
