The Game is On!

Soon we'll have the first annual InternetWorks Ahtletic/Endurance competition! Dico, is so convinced that he's going to beat us in everything. He thinks that just because he sweating at the gym every morning when the rest of us are still in bed sleeping. During lunch he certainly wanted to show off the shape he's in right now. So we had a little jog back to the car. Dico will be glad to let you know that he won. Be let me tell you I wasn't giving my all yet -wait till competition day!

What the competition is going to consist of is not fully determined yet. Part of this will be a horseback riding demonstration. The boys will finally learn and see for themself that it's really not as easy as they all think! The rest? Yes it's going to involve endurance. By that time Dico will be so bummed that we'll end the afternoon with some kind of speed race just to give him one more chance and cheer him up again!

I think it will be interesting. Details will follow sometime!

Big screen debut.

Last night I was at the unveiling of some films at RIFF (Reel Island Film Festival).  I had a small part in a film by Devon McGregor called Jack and the Mud Queen.  My small part was filmed in 2004 and I'd almost forgotten about it until Devon emailed me to let me know she had a ticket for me!  It was a packed house!  I'd never seen myself on the big screen before and i waited right until the end of the film for the moment.  If I'd blinked I would have missed myself.  The film was really well done and I'm hoping to get a copy so that I can show it online.  I've already got my headshot photo for any more acting gigs that come up. 

 

 

Also, we are going to be organizing the InternetWorks Activity Afternoon where we will all pit our strengths against each other.  Harma has been shooting her mouth off too often and I don't think Donnie and I are going to take it any more!.

A new competition?

Are equestrian riders really considered athletes?

Is Dico in as great of shape as he says he is?

Can Harma outbeat Dico in any athletic competition?

Is it exciting that this weekend will involve proud displays of getting drunk in public at any time of the day in celebration of east coast music?

Will Dico be 'discovered' as a result of his very minor role in a local film?
