The truth is out...
We had lunch with Jamie and his fiance, Tieze (sic) (pronounced tie -ease), who is Brazilian. She is very pretty and smells great. Smelling great is, I think, a very Brazilian thing. My Brazilian friend in the MBA program (who also smelled great) wondered why Canadian men didn't wear cologne everyday. In honour of her, I often wear cologne to work. I just hope my cologne smells good, otherwise I just spent money to smell bad. Jamie was very surprised at how mediocre our discussion was and, in particular, how unwise I was. In order to think I was unwise, he must have thought I was wise at some point, so his saying that made me very happy

In many ways, Jamie's never left
Jamie and Thais are back in town for a few days. For those who don't know, they're living it up in Rochester, MN. Thais is a MD with the Mayo Clinic and Jamie is in IT. Thats a lot of acronyms... MN, MD, IT. Anyhow, it was good to see them again. Jamie actually stopped in this morning to give Donnie a CSS tutorial. As a reward for showing Donnie how to do some computer stuff, Jamie got to drive us down to the culinary. Below is a photo of the three of us packed in the back of Jamie's Suzuki (did you know they still made cars??!?) Oh, i received an email from Jacob. He's starting language training today and next week he starts work. It can't be much of a language if he can learn it in one week.
