Cheese Sub
Colossal cheese sandwich today at Myrons!!! Watch out Hunter's here comes Myron's 1 foot cheese sub. Very well done. Nice to Greg Fraser, haven't seen him in a dog's age. Also nice to see Mark back in the loop. I don't watch the Olympics. I may tune in to a bit of hockey if it is on when I sit down in front of the boob tube, otherwise, no thanks. Just not a sports guy I suppose. Have fun at Jack Frost!!!

I was once an Olympic hopeful.
Many of you don't know this, but I was once an Olypmic hopeful. I don't talk about it. If I do, its pretty rare. I was a spry teenager with a passion for skiing. Moguls were my specialty and I was all about the big air. I, much like Jean-Luc Brassard with his "JLB", even had my own signature trick -- Dutch Air. Anyhow, this was a long time ago. However the moguls is still one of the events I enjoy watching and will make an effort to watch. Below is a pic of the JLB, a great trick thats won him many medals over his career. Anyhow folks... enjoy the weekend!

I Didn't Give Up Yet!
Dico may have given up his hope, I haven't done so yet. I think the Olympics is absolutely the ultimate goal for any serious athlete.I've been watching quite a bit of the Torino games. I just like watching the formality of the games and the involvement of the athletes. I like the winter Olympics but am more into summer sports. Although, the guys love to make fun of the horses it's actually a very serious and competitive Summer Olympic sport. Now I know that my chances of making it are incredibly slim but maybe I'm just quietly hoping. Where would you be in this world if you don't have an ultimate goal or don't believe in yourself?? Now thinking back about Wednesday topic some may disagree with part of that sentence. Some of you would recommend to start living the present instead of thinking about a future Olympic appearance especially since the chance of making it is almost none. The thought of it can be called a waste of engery.....
